The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for using creative recruiting methods to identify both active and passive candidates for the organization for a variety of functions. This person will work directly with managers to assist with open requisitions through sourcing, screening, and interviewing a diverse slate of applicants. This individual will review and evaluate applicant's work history, education, training, and other qualifications, as well as, notify applicants of consideration or rejection and interview those selected that meet the organization's qualifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic staffing/workforce planning services and tools to Human Resources and managers.
  • Maintain database of applicants for current and future openings and oversee the successful interface with the HRMS system.
  • Manage the recruitment section of the Company website and ensure the interface of the website with the recruitment database.
  • Confer with management to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skills.
  • Design selection and evaluation tools (e.g. behavioral interview guides) to be used across the organization. 
  • Maintains library of hiring guides and other behavioral based interviewing tools for critical positions within our company. 
  • Assists management team with the hiring processes, hiring guides and reference checking tools for current job openings in alignment with Top Grading techniques. 
  • Assist management with sourcing activities, including becoming a ‘preferred’ employer.
  • Develop and maintain network of contacts, especially related to our industry, to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Educate Human Resource Manager on what is happening in the marketplace.
  • Speak with business leaders and operations managers to determine attraction and retention priorities and issues.
  • Develop sourcing and selection programs with assistance of Human Resources Manager.
  • Research staffing trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two to five years of proven staffing or recruiting experience, supporting multiple locations for a variety of positions.
  •  Strong internet recruiting skills.
  • Strong ability to network and identify future talent.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work independently
